Founded in 1835 as a family business, Bräcker AG soon developed as a specialist for key products in the textile industry. With the expansion to France in 1951 and the establishment of a sales office in Italy in 1996, the foundation stone was laid for successful international development.

Thanks to steadfast development of new markets early on, in particular overseas, Bräcker AG became a global market leader. A demanding, responsible position which regularly confirms the innovative strength and market flair of Bräcker AG, but which also proves to be a strong challenge. The take-over of GRETENER Yarn Carriers in 2001 completed and strengthened Bräcker AG's range. Together with its sister companies Novibra, Suessen and Graf, Bräcker provides a solid foundation of knowledge and market overview, firmly supporting and confirming the exceptional position on the market. And this development continued successfully with the take-over of the BERKOL Business Unit in December 2007.

Bräcker AG currently has a worldwide staff of appr. 135 employees.
